The Malaysian AIDS Foundation hosted the Poise & Power High Tea Celebration at Hilton Kuala Lumpur, honoring the challenges and triumphs of over 15,000 women living with HIV. With the theme “Count Her In: Accelerating Gender Equality Through Economic Empowerment,” the event celebrated women who exemplify grace, strength, and resilience. Globally, over 20 million women and girls live with HIV, including 15,000 in Malaysia. To end AIDS by 2030, it is crucial to prioritize the needs of women and girls living with HIV, ensuring they receive the support, resources, and advocacy needed to thrive.

The Malaysian AIDS Foundation advocates for the rights of women living with HIV, striving to provide equal access to economic opportunities through initiatives like the MyLady Assistance Scheme and the PERKESO Return-to-Work Program. During the event, donations were presented to Malaysian AIDS Foundation Chairman, YBhg. Professor Dato’ Dr. Adeeba Kamarulzaman, by representatives from the Ministry of Youth & Sports and Pusat Khidmat Rakyat. The celebration featured entertainment by RRCS celebrities and local artists, highlighting the importance of supporting women living with HIV.

Epic AV Sdn Bhd was beyond grateful to be given the opportunity to set up the Sound System Rental, Lighting Rental, and P2.5 Indoor LED Screen Rental, which has a screen size of 7 meters (W) x 3 meters (H) for the Malaysian AIDS Foundation at Hilton Kuala Lumpur. This was part of the support team’s efforts in providing LED screen rental services for the event Poise & Power High Tea Celebration.
