The Majlis Pelancaran Pusat Sebaran Maklumat Nasional (NADI) Ampangan took place on April 19, 2025, marking a significant milestone for the local community in Negeri Sembilan. This event was officially launched by YB Tuan Yap Yew Weng, the Member of the State Legislative Assembly (ADUN) of Ampangan. The presence of key representatives from the Suruhanjaya Komunikasi dan Multimedia Malaysia (MCMC) and the Jabatan Penerangan Malaysia highlighted the importance of this initiative in bridging the digital divide.

The launch of NADI Ampangan is part of a broader national effort to establish multiple NADI centres across Malaysia. This new centre in Ampangan adds to the growing number of 62 NADI centres in Negeri Sembilan alone. NADI centres are designed to provide essential information and services to local communities, helping them stay informed about government initiatives and services.

Moreover, NADI Ampangan aims to offer various programs, including entrepreneurship support, lifelong learning, self-wellness, and internet safety awareness. By providing these services, the centre empowers the residents of Ampangan and surrounding areas, helping them improve their quality of life.

The launch also reflects the government’s commitment to enhancing the accessibility of information and communication services to rural and underserved communities. Through NADI Ampangan, the local population can engage with various government programs that are crucial for their personal and community development.
