About Malaysia Technology Expo 2025

The Malaysia Technology Expo (MTE) 2025 took place from February 20 to 22, 2025, at the World Trade Centre Kuala Lumpur. This annual event serves as a premier platform for innovators, researchers, and entrepreneurs to showcase technological advancements across various sectors, including information technology, electronics, robotics, green technology, and biomedical engineering. ​

In this edition, Yayasan Sarawak emerged as a standout performer, securing nine Gold Awards in the Public Service Innovation Awards (PSIA) category. The accolades were presented to projects from agencies such as the Forest Department Sarawak, Land and Survey Department Sarawak, Land Custody and Development Authority, Ministry of Natural Resources and Urban Development, and the Rural Water Supply Department (JBALB) Sarawak. ​

Sarawak’s participation not only highlighted its commitment to innovation but also earned it the title of MTE East Malaysia Region Strategic Partner. Additionally, Superi Awang Said, Director of the Sarawak Transformation and Innovation Unit (STIU), received a Special Award for his leadership in bridging the innovation and technology gap between East and West Malaysia. ​

The MTE 2025 successfully brought together industry leaders, researchers, and technology enthusiasts, fostering collaborations and showcasing Malaysia’s growing prominence in the global technology landscape.
