Kolej Tunku Kurshiah, originally known as Maktab Perempuan Melayu, was established in 1939 following a proposal by Dato Sheikh Ahmad Al-Haj bin Sheikh Mustapha and support from the Sultan of Selangor and Sultan of Perak. The intention was to create an English-language boarding school for girls, akin to The Malay College in Kuala Kangsar, focusing on educating future queens and dignitaries.

The school, initially delayed by wartime disruptions, officially opened as Malay Girls College on October 15, 1947. It moved to Bukit Merbah, Seremban in 1962, and was renamed Kolej Tunku Kurshiah to honor Tunku Puan Besar Hajah Kurshiah Binti Almarhum Tunku Besar Burhanuddin. After relocating to Bandar Enstek, Nilai in 2013, the college was recognized as an IB World School in 2016. It now offers the International Baccalaureate Diploma and Middle Years Programmes and is known as a Smart School and a Trust School. Form 1 admissions are based on academic achievement, leadership, and community involvement.

Recently, Kolej Tunku Kurshiah held the Majlis Anugerah Kecemerlangan (MAK) 2023 at Dewan Budiman. The event was officiated by Yang Berusaha Hj. Shafruddin bin Hj. Ali Hussin, Deputy Director-General of Education Malaysia, Sector of Professionalism Development.

Epic AV Sdn Bhd was beyond grateful to be given the opportunity to set up the P2.5 Indoor LED Screen Rental, which has a screen size of 5 meters (W) x 3 meters (H) for the Kolej Tunku Kurshiah at Bandar Baru Enstek, Negeri Sembilan. This was part of the support team’s efforts in providing LED screen rental services for the Majlis Anugerah Kecemerlangan (MAK) 2023.
