The Jabatan Anatomi Fakulti Perubatan UKM continues to strengthen its role as a leader in anatomical sciences and medical education. Recently, the department gained international recognition by hosting the 8th International Anatomical Science and Cell Biology Conference (IASCBC) alongside the 3rd Malaysian Anatomical Conference (MAAC). Therefore, this major event attracted researchers, educators, and students from across the globe, creating a dynamic platform for exchanging knowledge and advancing innovation.

From the very beginning, the department emphasized collaboration and knowledge sharing. Moreover, the conference theme, “Anatomy Without Boundaries,” reflected its mission to expand scientific exploration beyond traditional limits. In addition, the sessions covered diverse topics, including neuroscience, forensic anthropology, regenerative medicine, and innovative teaching practices.
