Professional Mutawwif Development Holdings (PMD Holdings) is a 100% Bumiputera-owned company established on October 16, 2019, with the aim of empowering education and recognizing the Mutawwif profession. Led by Ustaz Abd. Halim bin Ikhsan, an experienced Mutawwif, the company focuses on enhancing the quality and international recognition of this career.

PMD Holdings introduced the Mutawwif career to public university graduates in Malaysia through the Professional Mutawwif Mutawwifah certification program, in collaboration with the Ministry of Education Malaysia and Universiti Pendidikan Sultan Idris. Around 600 graduates and 180 travel agencies participated, gaining insights into career opportunities in Umrah and tourism.

The company also produced the reality TV program “Manhajj Mutawwif: Pencarian Mutawwif Terunggul,” which aired on Astro Oasis and Maya HD, attracting 3 million viewers across Malaysia, Brunei, Singapore, and Indonesia. To formalize the profession, PMD Holdings developed a special module approved by the Department of Skills Development, establishing the Diploma in Mutawwif Management for Umrah and Ziarah, and aims to make Malaysia a global hub for Mutawwif education.

Epic AV Sdn Bhd was beyond grateful to be given the opportunity to set up the P2.5 Indoor LED Screen Rental, which has a screen size of 4 meters (W) x 2 meters (H) for Professional Mutawwif Development Holdings (PMD Holdings) at Pusat Latihan Kemasyarakatan Beranang (PULAKEM), Beranang. This was part of the support team’s efforts in providing LED screen rental services for the Majlis Kunjungan Ulama Indonesia ke Ibu Pejabat PMD Holdings.
