Lembaga Zakat Selangor (LZS) recently organized the Bengkel Gerak Kerja Fitra dan Latihan Mobile APPs Tahun 2025 at Dewan Kompleks PAID Kuala Langat. This workshop aimed to streamline the process of zakat collection during the annual fitrah distribution using mobile applications. Participants, including Penolong Amil Fitrah (PAF) and LZS staff, had the opportunity to engage in practical training sessions that focused on the features and functionalities of the mobile apps.

The workshop emphasized the importance of using digital tools to record transactions, issue receipts, and synchronize data in real-time. By doing so, the workshop aimed to reduce manual errors and ensure a faster, more accurate process for zakat collection. Moreover, this approach allows for greater transparency and accountability in managing zakat funds.

Additionally, the event fostered collaboration and knowledge-sharing among participants. They exchanged ideas, discussed challenges, and shared best practices to further improve the zakat collection process.
