Lembaga Zakat Selangor (LZS) recently hosted the Bengkel Gerak Kerja Fitra dan Latihan Mobile APPs Tahun 2025 at De Palma Eco Resort, Kuala Selangor. This workshop focused on enhancing the efficiency of zakat collection for the upcoming year by incorporating innovative mobile technology. The event brought together key stakeholders, including Penolong Amil Fitrah (PAF) and LZS staff, to explore how mobile applications can streamline the zakat distribution process.

The main objective of the workshop was to familiarize participants with the new mobile apps designed for real-time data entry, transaction recording, and receipt issuance. By integrating these mobile tools, Zakat Selangor aims to reduce manual errors, improve the accuracy of zakat records, and ensure a smoother transaction process for both donors and recipients. As a result, the workshop provided valuable hands-on experience, equipping the participants with essential skills to manage zakat efficiently.

Throughout the event, attendees were encouraged to share best practices and engage in collaborative discussions, promoting a culture of teamwork and knowledge exchange.
